ABOUT ANNABELL

Annabell is a certified nutritionist and health coach based in Düsseldorf with a focus on women's health and gut health. Over the last few years, she has helped a number of people restore or increase their well-being, get rid of gut symptoms and even help to get pregnant. One of the most important features of her work is client individuality. Every client of hers receives a very unique consultation that starts with a minimum of 2 appointments and can continue up to several months or years. The teachings of Ayurveda are an important tool for her to adjust nutrition and lifestyle on a very individual basis.

Through further education and regular workshops, Annabell is continuously deepening her knowledge of health and nutrition. Since 2017, she has been a freelancing health coach, consulting in both German and English. In addition to this, she organises health events for companies, leads cooking workshops and takes care of her 2.5 year old son.

Annabell will be holding a Clean Detox Nutrition Workshop at BECYCLE on Jan 29th 12-3pm. In this 3 hour workshop, Annabell will teach you all about alkaline foods and ways to increase health by understanding what foods do and don't serve us well. By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with easy solutions to live a more balanced life, understand your body and how to improve your overall energy, digestion and wellbeing. Book your spot here.

Annabell loves creating and sharing recipes that are healthy, nutritious and delicious. Keep your eye on our BECYCLE newsletter for more mouth watering and nutritious recipes from Annabell, such as this one:

ENERGY BALLS WITH HAZELNUT, SESAME & VANILLA

These energy balls with hazelnut, sesame and vanilla are incredibly soft and tasty when done with medjool-dates.

For 18 energy balls you need:

  • 475 g pitted dates

  • 6 tablespoons almonds

  • 3 tablespoons hazelnuts

  • 2 tablespoons white sesame

  • 3 tablespoons almond butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 4 pinches of salt

  • raw cacao for coating

Put all the ingredients into a suitable food processor and chop them up thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. When the mixture is quite smooth you can form a nice little ball with your hands with a tablespoon of the mixture. Roll the ball in the raw cacao spread on a plate. You can keep the energy balls in the fridge for a couple of days. Enjoy!
