Fit-focused Qs:

What is your go-to breakfast on a busy morning? A smoothie in the summer and overnight oats in the winter.

What's your best strategy to stay motivated? The fact that I feel crazy if I don’t regularly do some sort of fitness! But otherwise a good playlist or podcast I can dive into.

The best thing we can do for ourselves after a workout is...  STRETCH!

Is there a special dietary regime you follow? What changes have you seen or felt since you have started it? Honestly, eating a balanced diet of whole, non-processed foods is the most important diet credence for me. I absolutely try my hardest to eat seasonly, support local farmers markets and consume local ingredients wherever I am.

What are your top three exercises to do at home? For me, the name of the game is cross training: so I’ll jog to mix up my workouts or whenever I travel. It’s the best “on-the-go” workout cause you can do it anywhere with no equipment!

What are your tips to have energy all day? Eat regular protein and good fats. I get really low blood sugar and then I become a monster, so in order not the crash, I’ll make sure to have at least some protein (mostly plant-based proteins) in each of my meals or snacks. Nuts/nut butters are my best friend.

What's your favourite motivational quote? I’m more into mantras and I literally tailor my mantras almost each month. I think right now my “theme” is all about going with the flow, so a good mantra is “trust in the process that you and the universe are unfolding your best life”.

Quick-fire Qs

Favourite smoothie at My Goodness: Oh Kale Yeah if I’m feeling under the weather and Maca Power Up for a post-workout refuel.
Best Restaurant in Berlin: Lode & Stijn, hands down. I love the whole team and everything they do and stand for.
Best Bar in Berlin: Hmmm…totally depends on my mood! St. Bart on Graefestraße ticks most of the boxes for great wine and cocktails, but I always love a good Kiez Kneipe too!
Best Place to dance in Berlin: My house :)
Favourite exercise: I LOVE boxing; its function is endless: it tones, it’s great for cardio and you can get out all of your aggressions from the day!
Least favourite exercise: BURPEES!!!! Hate ‘em with a burning passion.

Silly Q's:

Dog, cats, neither? I was always a cat person because we didn’t grow up with dogs and now I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some amazing dogs and I love dogs too now…so BOTH!

What's your personal theme song? “Feeling Myself” by Nicki Minaj ft. Beyoncé. It’s just all-around empowering and gets you in that “I’m a bad-ass” mood…and it reminds us that we girls don’t need to apologize for being bad-asses.

You're stranded on an island. What's the one thing you'd wish you had and why? This is so cheesy but my partner. He provides endless hours of entertainment and we’d probably just laugh the whole time wondering how we got ourselves stuck on this island in the first place – and then work together to engineer a way to get our butts off it!
