Fit-focused Qs:

What is your go-to breakfast on a busy morning? I usually don’t have breakfast, if I have a busy morning - I like to take my time for food. If I need the energy though, then just a banana, some cashews and a coffee with almond milk. Longer mornings call for breakfast bowls with porridge, all kinds of seeds & a smoothie on top!

What's your best strategy to stay motivated? I remember myself how good it feels to get the things done that I set out to do. It’s just the first step that feels hard at times, afterwards it always feels great.  Knowing that makes it easier to get started!

The best thing we can do for ourselves after a workout is...  Eating nourishing healthy food, drinking lots of water, resting and getting proper sleep.

Is there a special dietary regime you follow? What changes have you seen or felt since you have started it? I am vegan by choice and gluten-free because I am intolerant for many years now. Both changes had a great impact on my health and my awareness for nutrition and its effect on the body and the mind. My immune system is stronger, my allergies got better, I heal fast and overall, I feel fit and balanced.

What are your top three exercises to do at home? Sun Salutations to get energy going, seated or supine twist for a flexible spine and good digestion and legs-up-the-wall to rest and re-charge.

What are your tips to have energy all day? I regularly take small moments throughout the day to check-in with my energy level. Taking a couple of minutes for conscious and releasing breaths works like a reset, relaxing the body and calming the mind. Always a good idea: movement, fresh air, loads of water, ginger shots and nuts.

What's your favourite motivational quote? You’ll never know until you go.
