BEaway Ibiza: Our Top 5 Memories

What an adventure, our first BEaway retreat in Ibiza! Just over a week ago, we arrived back from island paradise after a four-day immersion into yoga, fitness, nourishing food and stunning hikes. Keep reading to find out our top 5 memories from our retreat experience…

#1 POOLSIDE YOGA EACH DAY

Nothing beats a deeply relaxing yin yoga session by the pool, with the water’s reflection of the sky above to calm the mind. Led by BECYCLE resident teacher Steph, we alternated between afternoon yin yoga and dynamic morning vinyasa to mix things up and help balance our energy.

#2 HIKING TO A SECRET BEACH

On Day 3, we embarked at sunrise to hike to a secret beach cove, one that only locals know of! The rocky path led us to the most crystal clear water, where we went for a swim, followed by a sensory meditation on the pebble shores - pure bliss.

#3 DELICIOUS FOOD BY OUR PRIVATE CHEF

After morning movement each day, we were nourished by private chef Olivia Ionescu - here pictured was our favourite brunch: a soba noodle salad with fresh asparagus, broccolini, green beans, sprouts, avocado, walnuts and delicious mango.

#4 A PRIMAL MOVES WORKSHOP

Another local secret, this primal moves workshop was an unforgettable experience. Located an industrial warehouse, the 90-min session was led by UK instructor Nick, who led us through a series of full-body movements, active stretching, handstand practice and bar hanging. Exhausting but so fun!

#5 THESE SUNSET VIEWS

Why is it that watching sunsets over the water’s horizon makes us feel so at peace? On Day 2, we headed to the cliffs to watch the sun set at the third most magnetic spot on earth - Es Vedra.
